Great Trip And Reunion

Susan and I went to my high school reunion and in my healthy opinion we had a fabulous time seeing classmates and reminiscing about happenings from our past. I was fortunate to see one of my best friends who I had not seen since 1989. Bill and I have known each other our entire lives.

During the long drive to our reunion spot, Susan and I really enjoyed the Texas landscape as we drove to Austin and there Susan visited with her Mother. She is doing well, and she speaks to her dead relatives as if they were with her. Maybe they are? From Austin we journeyed North through Stephenville and on to Wichita Falls. We stayed at a hotel by the falls.

After the reunion was completed, off we went across North Texas to Sherman and toured the Austin College campus in Sherman. Susan graduated from Austin College and she recalled many great times. We got back on the road and passed through Bonham, Texas where former Speaker Of The House of Representatives, Sam Rayburn grew up and lived.

We finally turned South at Paris, Texas and headed back to our home. Whew! We traveled for 12 hours straight finally arriving home where our Son and dogs were waiting. What a trip and boy, are we glad to be home.
